Digital Product Idea Database - Find Product Ideas by Niche, Audience, Problem and Format
Digital Product Idea Database
Find specific digital product ideas by niche, audience, problem, format and business model. 144 structured opportunities with demand signals, competition data, revenue math and opportunity scoring — not a giant static list. Every record tells you who it is for, which painful problem it solves, what format it ships in, how hard it is to build, what it can realistically sell for, and where the evidence came from. Validate ideas step by step, track competitors, build launch checklists, match your skills, watch trends, export reports and generate new concepts with your own AI API key.

Validation workflow
A nine-step validation workflow that takes an idea from "interesting" to "worth building". Work through the steps, tick what you have done, and the tool shows how far you have validated the idea.
Press Score validation to see the nine steps and how far you have progressed.
The nine validation steps
Formulas used in the validation score
Validation percent = (completed step weight / total step weight) x 100Each step has a weight based on how much signal it produces. Paid pre-orders weigh the most because money is the strongest validation signal.
Signal score = (interviews / 3) + pre-orders + (waitlist / 20) + (community mentions / 5)A signal score of 5 or above is a strong green light. Below 1 means you are still guessing.
Competitor tracker
Log the products that already sell to your audience. The tool summarises the price band, the review counts and the gaps you can attack.
Add competitors to see a summary of the market.

How to read the competitor summary
A market with many low-priced products means price competition. A market with few but expensive products means buyers pay for quality. A market where reviews complain about the same thing is where your wedge lives.
Launch checklist
A pre-launch checklist with 25 items organised in phases. Tick items as you finish them and the readiness meter fills. The checklist is included in the export hub.

Opportunity scoring and revenue math
The Opportunity Score is a 0 to 100 research signal. It combines demand, competition, trend, evidence and feasibility. It is not a prediction of profit.

Opportunity Score = (Demand x 10 / (Competition + 1)) x Trend multiplier x ((Moat + Skill match) / 2)Gap score = (Demand / (Competition + 1)) x 100One-time revenue per month = Addressable users x Conversion rate x Average priceAccuracy note: every score and revenue figure is a model. Treat it as a planning range.
Portfolio builder
Combine several ideas into a portfolio. The tool balances effort, revenue potential and risk.
Add a few ideas, then press Auto-build a portfolio for a suggested combination.

Frequently asked questions about digital product ideas
What are digital products?
Digital products are files, tools, software and memberships delivered online instead of shipped: templates, spreadsheets, calculators, guides, ebooks, workbooks, courses, toolkits, prompt packs, AI workflows, browser extensions, micro-SaaS apps, databases, memberships, communities, newsletters, generators, planners, trackers, printables, swipe files and playbooks.
How do I use the validation workflow?
Pick an idea, enter what you have actually done (interviews, waitlist signups, pre-orders, competitor count, reviews read), and press Score validation. The tool shows nine weighted steps and a signal score. Paid pre-orders weigh the most because money is the strongest signal.
How does the competitor tracker work?
Log each competitor with its price, review count and rating, plus the gap you think you can attack. The summary shows the price band across the market, the average review count and whether the market is crowded at the low end or the high end.
How do the skills matcher and trend radar help?
The skills matcher ranks ideas by how well they fit the skills and tools you already have, so you start from what you can build today. The trend radar groups every idea by trend direction so you can see what is rising before you commit.
What export formats are supported?
CSV, Markdown, JSON, Notion-friendly CSV and a full report. Each export can be scoped to the currently filtered results, your saved ideas, the whole database or your portfolio.
How is the Opportunity Score calculated?
Score = (Demand x 10 / (Competition + 1)) x Trend multiplier x ((Moat + Skill match) / 2), clamped to 0 to 100. Every input is visible so you can audit the number. It is a research signal, not a prediction of profit.
Is my API key safe?
The key stays in this page. It is only transmitted to the AI provider you select when you press Run. If you tick Remember on this device, it is stored in your browser's local storage. Never paste a key on a shared computer.
Which AI providers are supported?
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, Mistral, OpenRouter, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
Methodology, data sources and freshness
Each record is assembled from research fields: search evidence, marketplace evidence, buyer evidence and competition. Every record stores its source, source type, the date it was checked, what was observed and a confidence level. AI-generated ideas are labelled and carry no independent evidence until you research them.
Source types used
Google search results, Etsy, Gumroad, Amazon, Product Hunt, Reddit, YouTube, other marketplaces, public websites and search-trend data.
Update cadence
Database content is reviewed weekly, monthly or quarterly depending on the field. Dynamic information always carries a visible last-checked date.
How to use this tool responsibly
- Common mistake: choosing a format before choosing the audience. Pick the audience first.
- Common mistake: reading a price band as a guaranteed price. It is an observed range.
- Common mistake: treating an AI-generated idea as validated. Research it before you build.
- Common mistake: ignoring competition. A high score in a crowded market still means you need a wedge.
- Common mistake: building for everyone. Narrow the idea until the title names one specific buyer.
- Common mistake: skipping validation. Even a strong score means nothing without real buyer signals.
